As one of the Sacraments of Initiation, Confirmation completes the Sacrament of Baptism. A special outpouring of the Gift of the Holy Spirit equips us as Catholics for active participation in worship and in life of the Church. Teens are invited to begin preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 9th grade. Candidates need to be actively involved in religious education one year prior to beginning preparation.

Our Confirmation Preparation program begins in January 2021. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be received in November 2021.

CONFIRMATION teens are invited to begin preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 9th grade. They need to be actively involved in religious education one year prior to beginning preparation. This program provides teens with an opportunity to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to serve Him in the Church and in the community. Preparation consists of large/small group catechesis, choosing/meeting with a sponsor, and participating in a retreat, service opportunities and an interview with a parish priest.

For once a month Family Formation and for Confirmation, a decision to cancel will be made by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

During the week, if school is cancelled, there will be no 8 am Mass and all activities at the Church will be cancelled. If school is delayed, there will be no Mass but activities at the Church will still be held, weather pending.  Check with the parish office to confirm your event. As always, please use your discretion in inclement weather.
