Bus space & youth rally tickets are limited. 8th grade or below MUST be accompanied by an adult. Bus will leave St. Ann’s at 4am & will arrive back to St. Ann’s around 7pm. Saturday/Sunday, January 25/26. SUNDAY OF THE WORD OF GOD. Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has instituted the Sunday of the Word of God, to be celebrated annually on the Third Sunday in Ordinary Time. For the Sunday Masses of January 25-26, we invite you to bring your personal or family Bible to Mass when we will offer a commitment and blessing prayer as you hold your Bibles. We want to emphasize the importance of the Bible in Catholic life and encourage one another to read and study it as a regular part of our lives as disciples of Jesus.
Small Faith Sharing Groups – come be a part of St. Ann Small faith sharing groups – all are welcome! Next session sign-ups will be after each of the masses on January 25/26 and February 1/2, 2020. Sessions will begin the week of February 23, 2020 and will run throughout Lent. Groups are available most days of the week to fit almost any schedule! March 22, 2020- Rise Up Day Retreat- Rise Up Middle School Day Retreat hosted by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. There will be Inflatable Bounce Houses, Games, Live Music, Guest Speakers, Breakouts AND Mass with Archbishop Lori! Parents are invited for the parent track available that day. The retreat is 11am-9pm. Cost is $30/kid & $5/parent. Transportation is included. This retreat is not mandatory for EDGE kids but is HIGHLY suggested. Family Lenten Celebration, Stations of the Cross and Soup Supper: Please bring your family and your favorite pot of soup and come join us as we recognize and celebrate the Season of Lent with Family oriented Stations of the Cross and other activities as well as a soup supper. Saint Ann will hold its 24th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, May 15 at Black Rock. Tee off is 8:15 am. Cost to play is $75 per player which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a light breakfast, beverages on the course, and lunch after play. Sponsorships needed. Vacation Bible School: All students are invited to take part in the St. Ann Vacation Bible School during the week of June 22-26, 2020 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Programming for students entering gr. K- Gr. 5 as well as for Middle Schoolers entering Gr. 6-8. High Schoolers are invited to participate as Station and Group leaders. Adult help is also needed. On Sunday, if Foundations in Faith is cancelled a decision will be made by 8 am. For Confirmation, a decision will be made by 3 pm.
During the week, if school is cancelled, there will be no 8 am Mass and all activities at the Church will be cancelled. If school is delayed, there will be no Mass but activities at the Church will still be held, weather pending. Check with the parish office to confirm your event. As always, please use your discretion in inclement weather.
