Middle School (Gr 6-8)
We are using the EDGE program for our Grades 6, 7 & 8. This program is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of young adolescents. EDGE meets twice a month on Sunday from 6-8 pm. This provides a safe, fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. Edge resources speak to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth. The resources present Catholic teaching in a way that young people can understand.
- We have a team of 6 Catechists who are knowledgeable and volunteer their time to pass on the Catholic Faith and lead the teens closer to Christ.
- FIF EDGE Middle School meets during the school year on Sunday’s from 6:00-8:00 pm in Cana/Capernaum rooms in Manalis Center

August 6 & 13. It’s a Blessing- Feed the Hungry. Calling all middle & high schoolers! We would like to invite you to join us to feed our community Thursday, August 6 and 13 in downtown Hagerstown from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. You will need to provide your own transportation to the location. Middle School youth (anyone going into 6-8th grade this upcoming year) will need to have a parent/guardian join them. High School youth can drive themselves or be dropped off & picked up. Lisa Noel, Coordinator of youth ministry will be at each event. We need volunteers to help set-up, tear down & serve those days. We are also in need of food & drink donations. Volunteers are first come first serve. ALL youth volunteers will need to have a current (July 2020-June 2021) liability form on file. Sign up quickly if you would like to attend. Please contact Lisa Noel, Coordinator of Youth Ministry if you have any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 301-733-0410 x105. Please click the link below to volunteer.

2020-2021 Foundations in Faith Families
The Faith Formation team at St. Ann is excitedly planning for this upcoming formation year! On the horizon is a program that will include sessions to welcome families in person for formation (as soon as possible) as well as solid, simple opportunities and support for family formation at home using a combination of hand’s-on activities and faith discussion points. In addition, upon registration, each family will have unlimited access to Catholic Brain, an interactive online platform with games, short videos, an online bible and saint of the day that will help our young, and not so young, students learn in a fun way.
We are diligently looking for ways to support our families in this ever changing environment. We recognize how important it is to provide spiritually enriching community formation while at the same time keeping everyone safe. We understand that the most effective way to do this is through an active partnership with our parents and families. We will be hosting meetings, both virtually and in person, to discuss our upcoming formation year. Please look for details of these meetings and ways to register for FIF in an upcoming flocknote. Please check your inbox for our August 5 Foundations in Faith Survey or click the link below complete it today! Thank you for your patience and your participation!
