Adult Faith Formation
ADULT FAITH FORMATION
St Ann Adult Formation provides opportunities to help adults consciously grow in the life of Christ through experience, reflection, prayer, and study to better understand and participation in the full sacramental life of the Church.
On Sunday, October 21 at 1 pm in the Parish Center, Hilda Norton will speak about her book, “A Stroke of Love” . In 2010, Rex Norton, a musician and former Instrumental Band Teacher in Washington County, suffered a debilitating stroke at the age of 83. “A Stroke of Love” tells the true story of Rex’s miraculous recovery through the love bond of his wife, Hilda, and her reliance on prayer, music and laughter. This inspiring love story is for caregivers, future caregivers, and anyone facing a life-altering injury or illness. Hilda will share parts of their story along with music presentations. A signed copy will be available for $20.00/book. In memory of Hilda’s husband Rex, net proceeds will be donated to Hospice of Washington County for Doey’s House.
Saturday, November 10, 8:30am-11:30am — 3rd Annual “Worship Workshop” – everyone who serves in a liturgical ministry and all parishioners and friends are encouraged to gather in the Parish Center for light refreshments, prayer and an interactive session on “A Spiritual Guide Through Sunday Mass”. Please RSVP as soon as possible so that arrangements can be prepared!
