We greatly appreciate contributions to our church. Please click the Read More button to give to our church through our secure online giving portal.

During the COVID 19 situation,  the parish will continue to do all that it can to operate with limited resources.  But without continued financial support the critical operations of the parish will be impacted.  You can set up online giving or give a one-time gift through the “Donate” button.  If your financial situation changes, you can make changes to your giving also.

Parishioners create a user name and password.  St Ann staff does not have access to your account, but are here to help set up your account.  Please contact Kathy Sebrosky, ksebrosky@stannchurch.com, for additional assistance.

As the 2020 calendar year will soon be drawing to a close, and with the season of Christmas also fast approaching, here is some information that you may find helpful about how you and others may be able to take advantage of the federal CARES Act to maximize charitable giving to support the mission of Saint Ann Church.

On March 27, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law to help combat the far-reaching impacts of COVID-19. The bill provides increased tax incentives for charitable giving for some donors, but these benefits apply only in the 2020 tax year, so you must act by December 31.

Although there are a number of potential benefits, we wanted to highlight the benefits below.

Donors who utilize the standard deduction are able to receive a new above-the-line charitable deduction for cash contributions of up to $300.  If you need Saint Ann Church to substantiate the deduction, please make your cash contribution by check or electronic gift dated and submitted by December 31, 2020.

Donors who itemize can deduct cash contributions to Saint Ann Church to offset up to 100% of their income. Ordinarily, this income tax charitable deduction for cash gifts is limited to 60% of income. The 100% limit allows especially generous donors to reduce their 2020 federal income tax to zero. Existing carry-over rules still apply, so those who are even more generous can carry forward unused cash contribution deductions for up to five years. Please note that this only applies to cash donations.

This makes it easier now more than ever for our faithful supporters to make an even more special gift to Saint Ann Church.

It is recommended that donors check with their tax advisors and/or financial planning professionals to learn more about how this may apply to them.

This information does not constitute legal or financial advice. Consult your financial advisor and obtain professional counsel of an attorney to assist you in making a gift in a way that will benefit the people and causes you care most about.
